We are searching for a Vice President of Operations with a passion for data-driven strategy, an eye for operational excellence, and the agility to lead a rapidly expanding team across multiple states. Position Summary:

As the Vice President of Operations, you will lead DECA Dental’s East team operations, overseeing 50-80 locations and setting a strategic course for continued success. This role calls for a leader who is not only experienced but also excels in translating data into actionable insights, optimizing processes, and cultivating a culture of performance and accountability. You will be at the forefront of creating an environment that delivers extraordinary patient experiences while nurturing growth, innovation, and team cohesion.

Responsibilities

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Operational Excellence Through Data: Drive process improvements across DECA Dental to make measurable impacts on financial performance, operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement. Leverage analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for growth, and optimize operations.
    • Lead High-Performing Teams: Build, inspire, and retain top-tier talent in our operations teams. Establish accountability, monitor performance, and proactively refine team dynamics to align with strategic goals.
    • Data-Driven Prioritization: Collect and analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities. Develop data-supported business cases to drive impactful initiatives and operational efficiency.
    • Standardize and Innovate: Implement and refine best practices for staffing models, patient satisfaction metrics, and operational reporting. Use data insights to set benchmarks and drive consistency across all locations.
    • Accelerate Patient Growth and Retention: Partner with marketing to craft and execute promotional programs that enhance patient acquisition and retention, fueled by data-driven strategies.
    • Enhance Team Culture: Strengthen team morale and build a supportive, collaborative environment in each office, where team members feel valued and empowered.
    • Uphold Compliance and Quality Standards: Ensure consistent adherence to operational standards, policies, and procedures to maintain excellence in every aspect of patient care and business operations.
    • Collaborative Leadership: As a senior executive, work closely with leaders in Marketing, Clinical, IT, Insurance, and HR to align operational goals and fuel organization-wide growth.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

    • Educational Background: BS in Business Management or related field required; MBA preferred.
    • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of dental terminology and dental practice management.
    • Experience in Leadership: At least 5+ years in a management role with oversight of 15+ staff members and multi-site experience in a growth-focused environment.
    • Analytical and Data-Driven Mindset: Highly analytical, adept at interpreting data, with advanced MS Excel skills. Able to synthesize insights, prioritize strategic actions, and articulate the operational and strategic impact.
    • Problem-Solving Ability: Innovative thinker with a knack for solving complex operational challenges and motivating teams to deliver.
    • Influential Leadership: Skilled at inspiring, coaching, and leading teams with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
    • Communication Proficiency: Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
